Helping ministry leaders find rest and recuperation.
“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”
~John Muir
How much did you spend on the last cup of coffee you purchased??!
Bet it was more than A BUCK!!
For ONE DOLLAR a day, you can be a part of our "30 x 30 campaign!!" 43 % of Pastors say their own spiritual development takes a backseat to their other obligations (Barna Poll on Pastor well-being)
30 X 30= 30 dollars a month commitment
We are looking for at least 30 people to commit to give $1.00 a day to help us help us care for and serve those who are usually last to be served!!
Who We Are
Our vision is to help ministry leaders set aside time to care for their mind, body, and spirit. We accomplish this through short term retreats, restorative activities, optional Christian coaching and pastoral care, as well as holistic wellness care.
At Indigo Hills we know that you want to be a healthy, energized and well-balanced leader. In order to do that you need a break, away from your daily demands and pressures. The problem is you are in a non-stop grind mindset which makes you feel exhausted and unsupported.
We believe it’s wrong that many times, ministry leaders are the first to give and the last to receive. We understand what happens when you take care of everything, but yourself because together we have met with, prayed with and counseled 100s and have helped them find wellbeing, healthy rhythms and peace.
Stop striving and instead rest, play, recuperate, play, and leave feeling re-energized and reignite the passion for your purpose.
Indigo Hills-this is YOUR time, THIS is your place!
“I need to find some time to get away for a while”
"I'm so tired!"
"We're so busy!"
Culturally, these are phrases we are so used to hearing (and saying) but what is the cost? Ministry Leaders pour out so much and very seldom take time for themselves. They need time to rest, play, be still, and heal, so they can thrive.
At Indigo Hills our retreat facility is specifically designed to help ministry leaders take a break from the busy-ness, find solitude and rest, to restore their mind, body, and soul.
Our vision is to see many ministry leaders value this as an intentional and preventative practice. The reality is many ministry leaders will visit us in response to a deep soul-level need for R&R.
“As goes the leader, so goes his people”
So, would you like to help them go from
-
Busy-ness
-
Exhaustion
-
Surviving
-
Burnout
...to thriving?
“Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.” (philemon 1:7)
At Indigo Hills, we know you feel called to make an impact on the well-being of ministry leaders. To do that, you need to find a way to help. The problem is you may not have the time, capacity or the training, which can leave you feeling frustrated.
We believe you shouldn’t have to opt out and do nothing because of these frustrations. We understand you may not have specific skills, the time or the calling to directly serve, but want to make a difference so we’d like to partner with you.
We have both worked in care, prayer, and inner healing ministry capacities and we are a licensed counselor and a biblical counselor, so together we can have a positive influence on those who are usually the first to serve but last to be served.
Here’s how we do it: 1. Click here to find out more about who we are 2. Click here to DONATE (one time, or monthly-30 x 30).
In the meantime, click here to sign up for the “Indigo Informer” (our newsletter with prayer list). Be a part of making a powerful impact on ministry leaders, their families, and their communities. …As goes the leader, so goes the culture

Future Facilities
Our vision is to provide a retreat facility for ministry leaders for short term stays in the beautiful rolling Indigo Hills of East Tennessee.
This location has been a cattle farm for many years. The views are amazing and need to be shared to bring life back to ministry leaders' mind, body, and soul! Join us in prayer for God's will only to be done!
Phase 1 plan is for four day-use prayer/solitude cabins with a multi-purpose pavilion.
Phase 2 plan is for four to six Retreat cabins with creek and multipurpose pavilion/bridge and walking trails with meditation stations.
Phase 3 plan is to add a chapel and event site overlooking a pond with a fountain located in what we call the "sweet spot". This is the view you see in many of the photos.
Phase 4 will possibly be to add missionary temporary housing.
